Red nose day marathon(s!)

Today we held our ‘Pyjama Marathon’ to raise money for Red Nose Day. The Y6s worked out how many laps of our field we would need to do to run the full 26 miles, and carefully marked out the cones. The stage was sent, and off they went.

We were hopeful that the children would complete a whole marathon, but they by far exceeded our expectations by collectively running a staggering 111 miles! For such a small school this is an incredible achievement –  they nearly ran all the way from Brixton to Bristol!

Some stand out performers are Josh S who ran nearly 7 miles, and Morgan and Willis who ran 6 miles.

We have until the end of the week (Friday 20th March) to gather as much sponsorship as possible so please ask all your friends and family to donate some money to this worthy cause.
